After spending a fortune at the transfer window for the restoration of the Red Devil Empire, the new look Galacticos, eh hmm! sorry! Red Devils’ Coach Louis Van Gaal chose to abandon his preferred 3-5-2 system for the more adaptable 4-4-2 with a diamond formation after the former proved too complicated in the 3 previous games, a move that paid instant dividends!

Record signing Angel Di Maria opened his EPL goal account on the 24^th minute with a wicked free-kick that curled beyond the wall, missing all heads, then bounced off the turf beyond Robert Green’s reach.
